Wheel Repair - Lake County Illinois and Southern Wisconsin

473 Park Ave Lake County Wheel Repair offers quality repairs and refinishing for your alloy wheels. If the damage is corrosion, paint chipping, scrapes, discoloration, clear coat damage or curb damage, we can repair it.

Quick turnaround! On your car or off, we'll do the job!

When extensive refinishing is needed, several steps are required.

Each wheel is sanded down to the bare aluminum to ensure that the new coats adhere well to the wheel's surface.

Curb rash and other imperfections are removed.

Primer is applied.

A base /color coat is applied and finished.

After the color coat is smooth, a clear coat is sprayed, then buffed. This results in a great quality finish that looks showroom new!

This video shows you the steps we follow to restore your wheel to its factory new appearance.

For spot damage, the wheel is sanded, repaired and the paint is blended into the existing paint on the wheel.

Curb damage is ground out and leveled. Then, depending on the wheel, the wheel rim is polished or painted.

These services are offered at my shop, on your site or at various car dealerships to which we visit. Each individual wheel takes an average of an hour to repair, so on site repairs are fast and easy.

The cost of replacing your wheels as compared to repairing them is huge! The average wheel from the manufacturer can cost $300, $500 or more. Use us and spend $70 to $100 depending on the damage.

At this time, we do not repair bent or cracked wheels or refinish chrome wheels.
